Asphalt Mix Performance Enhancer

  • Bitcel – Cellulose Fibres


BITCEL is a compressed cellulose fibre that serves as a binder stabiliser in hot mix production with high bitumen content. It acts as a bitumen drainage inhibitor and is recommended for long-lasting pavement durability. This versatile product enhances resistance to fatigue and cracks propagation (EN 12697-18 and -24), making it suitable for various applications such as SMA, porous asphalt, asphalt thin layers, high module mixes, and SAMI. Additionally, BITCEL offers different hybrid grades for enhanced temperature susceptibility and workability in hot mixtures.

0.3% to 0.5% by weight of total asphalt mix.

Bitlinker Line

Granular cross-linking agents, designed for long-term stability in PMB (modified bitumen with SBR/SBS polymers), contain catalysts, accelerators, fumes scavengers, and bonding agents. They enhance polymer/bitumen network, promote easy handling, quick dispersion, and reduce H2S and SO2. Cross-linking optimises polymer-bitumen interaction, improves binder rheological performance, and allows lower polymer content.

0.10% to 0.25% by weight of bitumen.

Environmental Solutions

Thermo Plus

Introducing a revolutionary vegetal-based liquid additive with tensioactive properties that enables the production of warm mixes, reducing production temperatures to 110°C (230°F) and laying/compaction temperatures to 90°C (194°F). This additive not only decreases fuel consumption and emissions but also enhances the health and safety of machinery operators. It enables longer distance hauls even in cold weather conditions and provides a fume-free solution for indoor applications. Odour-free, heat-resistant, and storage-stable when added to bitumen, it improves the adhesion between aggregates and binder while its natural compounds formulation eliminates hasardous labelling.

0.3% to 0.5% by weight of bitumen (~1.0% for extreme temp. reductions).


E-COLD is a new generation vegetal-based liquid additive, specifically designed for producing cold mixtures used in pothole patching, road maintenance, cracks sealing, and filling cables/pipes tracks. It imparts plastic properties and excellent workability to the patching mixes (whether bulk or bagged), accommodating various aggregate sizes (4-7 mm or 5-8 mm) and bitumen types (70/100 or 50/70), allowing for extended mix storage. This additive is non-flammable, readily biodegradable, and free from VOCs, tar, and mineral oils, while being characterised by a distinctive odour.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: 15 to 23 % by weight of bitumen (depending on the bitumen grade and required workability).

Bitumen Emulsions

NTT2 is a liquid additive that acts as a bitumen hardener, enabling the production of non-tacky-tack emulsions when combined with a CRS emulsifier. This additive eliminates the need for low Pen bitumen (20/30), which can cause issues during emulsification. It should be added to the water phase and serves as a suitable replacement for hydrochloric acid. The dosage of this additive depends on the grade of bitumen being used.

0.70% to 1.00% by weight of total emulsion, (Pen ~30 dmm).
1.00% to 1.30% by weight of total emulsion, (Pen ~50 dmm).
> 1.60% by weight of total emulsion, (Pen ~70 dmm).

  • Red Oxide Pellet

Color PlusR

Introducing an innovative R&D formulation designed to enhance the production of RED hot mixes. This formulation, when used in conjunction with neat bitumen or synthetic binders, incorporates UV-resistant pigments, polymers, and additives carefully selected for their superior colour dispersion. It enables a significant reduction of up to 50% in the amount of red pigment required compared to powder alternatives and up to 1/3 less than other granular products. The pelletised format ensures a clump-free, recoverable, water-resistant product that is easy to dose, available in convenient 10 kg bags or BB packaging.

1.8 to 3.0 % by weight of total asphalt mix (with neat bitumen).
0.5 to 1.5 % by weight of total asphalt mix (with synthetic binder).
